PROJECT GUIDE

A website with or without a subscription: what should you compare?

A monthly fee should correspond to an identifiable service. Its value depends on the support you need and what you want to manage yourself.

Separate creation from support

Creation pays for an agreed delivery scope. Ongoing service can include monitoring, maintenance and small changes. Owning the code does not make domains, hosting or external tools free.

Read what is actually included

Launch has no mandatory subscription. Business includes up to two small change requests per month, Premium up to four, within the defined scope. New pages, business functions or substantial redesigns are quoted separately. Response targets are not universal resolution guarantees.

Ask before committing

Check when billing starts, commitment periods, cancellation and what remains active when the service ends. The proposal and conditions should provide consistent answers.

  • Are accounts and code handed over?
  • Who manages hosting and the domain?
  • Which changes use a monthly request?
  • What happens to the website when ongoing service ends?
